Securities & Derivat Analyst , Direct Custody & Clearing (Expiration 07/12/2018)



Job Purpose:


  • Support the SSH in providing and managing the country securities service franchise. 
  • The Product Manager is expected to support new sales efforts, to ensure customer retention and satisfaction and to ensure the local product offering is competitive in terms features and functions, service quality and price.


Job Background/context:


  • Maintain a mastery of the local securities market rules and conditions to support, advance and promote the local Securities Services franchise by ensuring that clients are highly satisfied, by developing and maintaining competitive products and services and supporting new sales.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Build and maintain customer relations and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Enhance product capabilities, working with Global Product Management to design and rollout new product and service developments as possible
  • Analyze customer needs and deliver innovative solutions by working with the Sales and Coverage Team, Global Product Management, Legal, Operations and Risk.  
  • Source market information and develop effective client communications that provide information on local market conditions and changes as well as product offering.
  • Establish solid relationship with market players, in particular the stock exchange, the central depository and main custodian banks. To be well recognized in the market and leverage different rapport that supports the business in meeting client needs.
  • Assist in establishing procedures and product frameworks.
  • Assist in process improvement and implementation.
  • Assist in instilling team spirit within own team and develop effective partnerships with Operations and other local, global and cluster business partners which remains a critical part of the job.
  • Participate in pricing analysis and decisions.
  • Comply with risk and Compliance, Audit issues and policies.
  • Support new initiatives.

  • University degree – advanced degree in economics or business are preferred


  • Typically have 5 years’ practical work experience in Securities Services with a knowledge of the International Investor client segment.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Knowledge of the Egyptian Capital Market.



  • Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English and Arabic, strong oral and written skills.
